Boasting three regional purchasing centres and a powerful sales and logistics organisation structure, InVivo's Fertilisers unit handles nearly 1.41 million tonnes of fertilisers a year, including nitrogen and compound fertilisers and soil enrichment products.

LOGISTICS AND SALES FUNCTION

InVivo’s Fertilisers unit is renowned by the major European producers for its purchasing and marketing power. In 2011, it handled nearly 1.41 million tonnes of soil and nutrition products, 80% of which were nitrogenous fertilisers.

THREE PURCHASING CENTRES

The fertilisers unit coordinates three regional purchasing centres set up in association with partner cooperatives: Intersol in Rouen (nitrogenous solution), Ensen in southeast France (multi-product) and another at the port of La Pallice in western France. InVivo also has three fertiliser storage sites, in Bordeaux, Loudéac (Brittany) and Gouaix (east of Paris). Through the concentrated management of volumes and supply, this organisation structure improves economic performance on global product markets where logistics plays a vital role.
