InVivo Quest launches the 5th edition

Created in 2017 by InVivo, National Union of Agricultural Cooperatives, InVivo Quest is a challenge open to agri-food startups whose stake is twofold : to identify startups that will help accelerate the transition of the agri-food sector, and to build an international ecosystem of AgriFood innovation.

For its 5th edition, InVivo Quest will offer global sourcing on eight themes with online meetings from September 2021. These hearnings will mobilize InVivo's teams, European cooperatives, food groups, investors and research centers partners. The end of this campaign is scheduled for May 2022.

Accelerate the transition of the agrifood sector

Climate change, the growing world population and changing consumer demands are all challenges for agriculture. In this context, innovation has a major role to play, and even if the agri-food sector has started its transformation, many "solutions" remain to be invented at all levels of the food chain.

For its 5th edition, InVivo Quest will offer global sourcing on eight themes. The 100% digital model implemented in the previous edition brought together a growing community of committed AgriFood players (European cooperatives, agri-food companies, institutions, investors) and will be continued. Registrations are open on the dedicated platform:

Sourcing and identification of innovative startups (via the partner ecosystem);

  • Prequalification and online selection of the 8 best startups (after a first meeting with the project leaders and receipt of a deck presenting the activity);
  • Selection: each selected startup will be evaluated according to 4 criteria : impact, business, technical and finance by a jury made up of around 50% of InVivo experts and 50% of experts from different ecosystems, including venture capital partners, academics, incccubators, European cooperatives and which could even include the founder of startups.

The winner from each geographic area will win :

  • A "business connections" pack including the possibility of testing your solution via Fermes Leader, an introduction to the InVivo network and its partners. For digital technologies, an opportunity to access the Microsoft for starrtups program.
