Our CSR commitment

Producing with a Positive and Sustainable Impact

Supporting the agricultural and food transition

InVivo, France’s leading agricultural cooperative group, places corporate social and environmental responsibility (CSR) at the heart of its strategy. True to its original mission, the group uses its business model to support farmers, its member cooperatives, and the agricultural and food transition. This positioning led it to actively contribute to the drafting of the PACTE law, which introduced the status of “Mission-Driven Company” in 2019.

As a Mission-Driven Company since 2020, InVivo places sustainable value creation at the center of its activities.
Its purpose guides an ambitious ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) approach. It commits the group to generating a positive impact for people and the planet by balancing economic performance with environmental and social responsibility.

This commitment translates into concrete actions to highlight the role of agriculture, promote healthy and responsible eating, reduce the ecological footprint, and preserve natural resources for future generations.

Our CSR commitments

Creating substainable value!

The pillars of InVivo’s CSR policy form the foundation of its roadmap to 2030. They are reflected and measured through its operations, its offerings, and its responsible approach toward all stakeholders.

InVivo’s CSR strategy is structured around three core pillars that reflect its ambition to act as a committed player in the agricultural and food transition, at the service of farmers, cooperatives, consumers, and local communities.

  1. Making our operations responsible
to reduce our environmental footprint and preserve resources
  2. Developing Positive Impact Offerings (PIOs)
to support the transition toward sustainable and competitive agriculture
  3. Engaging with our stakeholders on safety, inclusion, and responsible procurement.

A sustainability-Linked financial commitment

Since 2020, InVivo has aligned its financing structure with its CSR ambitions through a Sustainability-Linked Loan (SLL) integrating measurable performance criteria.

These criteria include:

  • the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions,
  • the development of Positive Impact Offerings,
  • the transition towards regenerative agriculture practices,
  • and improvements in employee health and safety.

This approach reinforces the integration of CSR into the Group’s overall performance and governance.

Extra-Financial Performance Statement

Since 2024, the DPEF has been gradually replaced by the European CSRD directive.

Following the postponements enacted as part of the “Omnibus I” package, InVivo will not be subject to the new obligations until the 2027–2028 fiscal years. During this transition period, the Group has chosen to publish a voluntary sustainability report, allowing us to transparently share our non-financial performance objectives and indicators.
