Our climate goals

To align with the Paris Agreement, InVivo has set ambitious targets  to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions between 2022 and 2030, specifically to:

  • Reduce its direct emissions (Scope 1 and 2) by 42%
by managing operational performance in terms of energy consumption, the production and purchase of carbon-free energy, and the financing of guarantees of origin to offset residual emissions.

  • Reduce its indirect emissions (Scope 3) related to agricultural raw materials by 30% (FLAG*) and those related to our purchases of manufactured or sold products, their use, and transportation services by 25% (NON-FLAG).

  • Experiment and innovate to deploy lower-emission or low-carbon fertilization solutions that are affordable and available in sufficient quantities.

These commitments aim to accelerate the development of low-carbon agricultural supply chains and support the large-scale deployment of regenerative practices.

Our water management goals

InVivo has set goals for 2030 to reduce its water consumption, particularly in the operations of Soufflet Malt and Teract, which together account for more than 90% of the Group’s water consumption.

Among our goals, we aim in particular to:

  • Reduce water consumption by 30% in relative terms at Soufflet Malt (vs. 2019–2020)

  • Reduce water consumption by 10% in absolute terms at Teract (vs. 2024–2025) in its integrated garden centers located in water-stressed areas or areas at risk of drought.

Reducing, reusing, repairing, and recycling waste

As part of its environmental strategy, InVivo applies the principles of the circular economy to its waste and co-products.

The Group aims to achieve 100% recovery of operational waste by 2030, through:

  • reduction at source,
  • reuse and recycling,
  • and the recovery of co-products.

As a member of A.D.I. VALOR, the Group, through its Soufflet Agriculture and Soufflet Vigne business units, contributes to the collection and recovery of agricultural supply waste. A.D.I. VALOR defines the technical procedures for waste collection and organizes and finances all or part of the disposal of agricultural supply waste. It also offers communication tools focused on prevention, education, and information regarding waste management.
