Our Positive Impact Initiatives

Creating sustainable value

Integrating positive impact into the heart of our operations

The agricultural and agri-food sector faces major challenges: climate change, pressure on natural resources, growing societal expectations, and the economic vulnerability of farms.
Since 2019, InVivo has aligned its operations with circular economy principles and addressed major environmental and societal challenges for the company and its customers. It is in this spirit that the Positive Impact Offer was developed—a pioneering initiative that places the creation of positive impacts at the heart of the Group’s product and service design.

This initiative aims to design products and services that make a concrete contribution to the agroecological transition, farm resilience, the creation of sustainable value for supply chains, and improved consumer experiences.

The Positive Impact Offer is based on a set of methodologies tailored to the specific characteristics of the Group’s various business lines, the implementation of which is regularly audited.
To be considered as such, it must address five key CSR challenges that have been identified.

Our Positive Impact Initiatives

Whether for farmers, manufacturers, bakers, gardeners, or consumers, our “PIO” offerings guarantee the highest standards.

To be selected, a solution must have a concrete impact on these five pillars, combining at least one environmental pillar with the societal pillar.

  1. We select products and practices that limit greenhouse gas emissions and help our supply chains (both agricultural and retail) adapt to climate change.

  2. We promote solutions that restore biological diversity. From farmland to private gardens, and including our industrial sites, we are working to ensure that every space once again becomes a source of biodiversity.

  3. Soil health is the foundation of everything. We promote methods and products that nourish the earth rather than deplete it, ensuring the natural fertility of farmland and gardens.

  4. We are committed to exemplary resource management. This means fewer chemical inputs, reduced pollution at the source, and a range of products that are healthier for both the environment and the health of users and consumers.

  5. A positive impact offering must be economically viable. We secure the income of our farming partners and ensure tangible benefits (quality, sustainability, fair pricing) for the end user and the in-store customer.
